2022-2023 ACT/SAT MOCK EXAMS AND PREP COURSES
Skyline PTSA members enjoy many benefits, including access to onsite practice SAT & ACT testing and preparatory courses. Email collegereadiness@skylineptsa.org with questions.
ABOUT THE ACT/SAT
The ACT and SAT are standardized tests colleges and universities use as part of their application process, administered by the College Board and American College Testing. For a comparison of the SAT and the ACT, click here.
To help prepare students for these tests, the Skyline PTSA has teamed with Huntington Learning Centers to offer a number of affordable preparatory courses and practice testing opportunities at Skyline High School.
For more information about the SAT and ACT, refer to the Skyline High School College Resource Guide.
MOCK ACT/SAT EXAMS
Skyline PTSA partners with Huntington Learning Center to offer mock (practice) exams to help students gain confidence in taking standardized tests. Each exam is $25 for PTSA members / $35 for non-PTSA members. For scholarship requests, reach out to collegereadiness@skylineptsa.org.
This year, tests will be taken in person at Skyline High School. Students will be allowed three hours to complete each exam, including a break, and asked to bring multiple sharpened pencils (with erasers), calculator, water bottle and snack.
Results will be considered unofficial. Families will be provided an overall score, along with a category breakdown, as part of a follow-up feedback session planned for March 30th at 7:00pm.
