The ACT and SAT are standardized tests colleges and universities use as part of their application process, administered by the College Board and American College Testing. For a comparison of the ACT and SAT, click here.

Skyline PTSA partners with Huntington Learning Center to offer mock (practice, previously released) ACT/dSAT (digital SAT) exams to help students gain confidence in taking standardized tests.

Exams are $25/each for PTSA members and $35/each for non-members; scholarships are available.

The winter mock tests will be offered on  February 1st, 2025 (ACT) and February 8th, 2025 (digital SAT).

Registration deadlines 

ACT: Jan 25th, 2025 by 7:00 pm 

dSAT: Feb 1st, 2025 by 7:00 pm 

ACT/dSAT practice exams are in-person at Skyline High School, with check-in between 8:30 AM-8:45 AM. Students are allowed 2.5 - 3 hours to complete the exam (depending on whether it is online or not), with a break included, and are required to bring a fully charged laptop and power cord (for online testing), multiple sharpened pencils with erasers and a personal calculator; closed water bottles are strongly encouraged, along with a small wrapped snack.

Students who participated in the February mock tests will receive an overall score and a category breakdown at a follow-up feedback session on February 12th at 7 p.m.
